With finals footy on Saturday some of our teams/support groups got together on Tuesday to learn a new haka which has been composed especially for the Tawa Rugby
Club by Ngati Toa (Owners of Ka Mate). The support groups are also preparing a basic costume similar to the picture below. The plain white hooded boiler suits can be purchased from Bunning’s for $6 or Mitre10 Mega for $9.
There is haka practice tonight at the rugby club starting at 6.30pm for those keen to partake and/or if you purchase a boiler suit - we will also have spray can’s available tonight to paint your suit with our club colours.
We are encouraging all Tawa supporters/teams to get out and support the boys this weekend in our colours!
