Levi was a real character around the club. He was always up for a conversation about rugby: whether it was about his whānau or the current state of club football in Wellington, Levi wasn’t backward in letting you know his opinion. Always with a big wide grin on his face. One piece of history Levi was always at pains
to remind us was that he was one of the first Pacific Islanders to don the Tawa jersey. Now how true that is probably only Levi would know.
The family service is on Sunday 8th March at 6.00pm at PIC Porirua - Christ the King. The burial service is on Monday 9th March at 11.00am at PIC Porirua - Christ the King.
Our condolences to the Finau family during this difficult time.
Pre-season training
On a rugby note, pre-season training is in full swing with our first pre-season game now just around the corner on 14
March against the Ories, location TBA.
If you haven’t been to training, it's not too late. The weather is perfect, the grounds are getting softer, and your team mates are waiting. Training is every Tuesday and Thursday at 6.30pm the home of rugby, Lyndhurst Park
Welcome to Ratu Naioroi
I would also like to formerly welcome Ratu Naroba to the club. He is a talented tight head prop from Gisborne coming to make his mark in Wellington.
Welcome and all the best for the upcoming
season.
