Hi ,
Here I am still in Melbourne as I write this report. Another okay day, that with a bit of luck it won’t rain. The Wedding we came over to was on a sunny Saturday afternoon, with about 20 Kiwis there as well as a heap of people
from various parts of Australia and locals. The highlight, besides my Cuzzie, David marrying his Soulmate Tony, was catching up with Family – some I had not seen for at least 30 years. It was my honour and privilege to be the MC and introduce some real hard case Speakers to the Crowd.
Super Rugby
had some interesting results, with the Highlanders finally reaching the top 8, Fijian Drua and Moana Pasifika having the closest match of the weekend, the Blues taking out the Hurricanes, and the Crusaders and Chiefs retaining their respective places on the Table. At this stage it would appear we may well play the Brumbies in the QF’s.
Our Premier Boys found J’ville were not the Team of old. I guess it has been sometime since J’ville have lifted the Carmine Trophy – good on them! Be a very interesting Game this week vs HOBM.
It would seem the J’ville Prem 2’s were up for a Game as well. Our Boys held on
to a 2 point lead and continue the Season unbeaten.
The Colts held off Upper Hutt Rams to continue their rise up the Table to #3.
Tawa Ducks (aka U85’s) cleaned out our Pare-Plim neighbours quite convincingly giving them a good spot on the Table. The Quakers would have been in full swing.
Those are the only Club Results I can access.
