Amy introduced Jun to the Club and next thing games, players and supporters were being photographed both on and off the field. With whole families getting pictures after the games.
We then had the return of team photos which Amy organised with team
management. She also introduced player profiles.
Then we had the addition of the weekly newsletter, which is sent out to all supporters and members. This turned into a small book .
Then for the
first time in Wellington rugby Jun and Amy started to live stream our premier games to all those that could not make the games. It became that big we had to give out passwords so opposition teams could not log in and watch our games. This has grown into quite huge undertaking and turned into what we have today with Tawa Rugby Live, both Premier and Premier 2 games being live streamed along with the odd President and Colts games. We have live scores and action replays, supported by an
often and amusing commentary team, along with advertising.
We can also not go past the huge amount of time Amy put into organising and arranging our 75th anniversary, one of the biggest hits from that was the old timers photos she was sending out 2 or 3 times a week this really added to what was a great weekend.
