PRESIDENT'S REPORT
Rugby has made me sit up and reassess my overall thoughts about "Mask Wearing". After having spent almost two weeks Coughing like there is no tomorrow and having had a Covid that was almost non existent, I really felt I had to sit back a moment and review where I had been and what had transpired. When Karen got Covid, it was after the Super Rugby event at Sky Stadium. I followed a few days later via RAT test and self isolating
anyway.
This latest bout which turns out to be a vicious Flu virus came about for us both after the 75th Jubilee. Man, this has been vicious for sure. Naturally checked early for Covid and both negative - should be okay then? There was the first mistake, thinking it was therefore pretty harmless. Hindsight says we should have been on the case, but too soon it was too late. At time of writing I have lost 7.9kgs. Nah - still too heavy for U85's.
Back to the Mask Wearing. Total change of attitude - in crowd zones, I will be wearing a Mask! Just cant wait to come right.
Our Premier and Premier Two Teams came through the weekend with flying colours. Not too sure if OBU know yet what happened. Bit of a hammering, but needed to show Poneke this week we mean business.
The Premier 2's just keep on doing the damage to anyone who dares turn up. What else can I say? The 2's have a Home Game against Avalon at 12pm.
